Parent Volunteer Hours Requirement

***Parents and guardians agree to abide by all policies and procedures. Parents are an important part of our program; therefore, participation is necessary to support Sculptor's charter and mission. Each family is required to provide 20 hours of volunteer service per student, per year, to the school. Failure to comply with this requirement provides sufficient grounds to deny subsequent renewal of student admission. ***

In Case of Severe Weather

‘Tis the season here in Florida when we see and can anticipate afternoon thunderstorms and the potential for some severe weather. If the weather brings lightning with it during dismissal or at any time when students are scheduled to be outside, Sculptor will follow its emergency procedures and go on a “weather hold”. What this means is we will not allow Sculptor students or personnel outside during the severe weather conditions. During dismissal this can mean a delay in loading the bus and a delay in delivering students to their cars in the car loop. While we apologize for the inconvenience, our first priority is the safety of Sculptor students and staff.
